At The Outreach Connection (TOC), we believe that to build a better tomorrow, individuals often need support to get through today. Rooted in compassion, dignity, and community, our mission is to ensure no one faces hardship alone.
As a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit, TOC brings people together through volunteerism and a shared commitment to helping others. We recognize that hardship can affect anyone, and we meet each person where they are, without judgment.
Our approach goes beyond food and basic necessities. We focus on the whole person, providing immediate relief, guidance, encouragement, and connections to resources that promote long-term stability and growth.
Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, we strive to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity for those facing difficult circumstances.
At TOC, we see the person beyond the hardship, creating lasting change through compassion, connection, and one act of kindness at a time.

Rachel holds a degree in Marketing and Business Management from Centenary University. After serving on the Board of Directors for Pink Heals Lehigh Valley, she followed her passion for helping others by co-founding The Outreach Connection.
Driven by compassion, determination, and a commitment to community, Rachel plays a key role in TOC’s continued growth and impact. As both a mother and nonprofit leader, she combines empathy with strategic vision to uplift others, strengthen connections, and create meaningful change.

How it all began...
The Outreach Connection (TOC) began with a dream, a whiteboard, and two women with a shared passion for helping others. In late 2018, Rachel and Shannon sat in their living room and mapped out the framework for what would soon become TOC, a vision rooted in kindness, compassion, and community support.
What started with simple donation drives using Shannon’s home as a drop-off point quickly grew into something much larger. Fueled by the growing needs they saw around them and their own love for helping both people and their pets, their mission evolved into creating an organization that could reach even further.
Today, TOC is more than a nonprofit. It’s a hub for connection, a place where people from all walks of life can find support, give back, and come together in the spirit of compassion.

Each pie you purchase supports our Client Choice Pantry, helping us make sure every family in our community can gather around a full table this holiday.
All pies are frozen and uncooked, ready to be baked in your oven.
