Our food pantry includes a comprehensive selection of much needed supplies. They include a selection of perishable and non perishable goods, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and pet products based on availability.
Our foundations program is based on providing much needed resources to our clients to help them get connected on all the services out there. There's so much assistance out there but it can be overwhelming to find. We are here to help!
Our foundations program will continue to grow as we do!
We partner with local produce farms and Local Share to provide us with fresh local produce!
Every week we receive fresh bagels. On occassion we will also have different breads, buns, and dessert items.
We try and have a stock of dog and cat food available, but can not guarantee it at any time.
We understand your first visit to a pantry can feel overwhelming! Here is what you can expect:
When first visiting our pantry you can expect to be greeted by a team of smiling volunteer faces where you will be directed to our front desk.
From that initial friendly interaction, you will head into a private office to meet with one of our resource mentors to do an intake. We will ask for simple information that is used for our private records to get a better understanding of you, your family, and your unique situation. From there, we will try and provide information about additional resources available to you through other organizations and agencies in the area. We aim to bridge the gap between the individual and the assistance that's out there. So feel free to bring your questions!
After all your questions are answered, you head into our pantry where you will be given a shopping cart and shopping list (based off your family size), and be greeted by a volunteer who will help walk you around our pantry so you don't have to worry about figuring it out on your own the first time. You will shop our shelves directly, so that you can make sure you get the items your family needs and uses.
Once you are done shopping, you head to our check out counters where we will weigh and bag your items for you to then take out to your car.
That completes your first visit with us! For follow up visits, all you will have to do is check in with the front desk, grab your shopping list, and head into our pantry on your own. Of course, volunteers are there to assist you if you need, but we value your privacy and don't want you to feel rushed.
The Foundations Program (Client Services) is designed to provide the essential items that are the building blocks of a better tomorrow. Each step of the way, every person who uses our Foundations program will be met with dignity, compassion, and heartfelt kindness from one of our volunteer Resource Mentors. We hope that by providing essential supplies, support to navigate other services available in the area, and help making critical decisions about next steps, that our neighbors in need will be able to create a stronger foundation to build up from.
We have helped hundreds of individuals receive the assistance and essential supplies they needed.
