Our street outreach program focuses helping those facing homelessness in our area. It is a surprising fact to learn that yes, Warren and Hunterdon Counties both have a homeless population. However, due to not having sidewalks and alleys like in most cities, these homeless individuals can be found in the woods or living out of vehicles.
We travel to warming shelters, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and literally hit the streets where we give out:
- Backpacks filled with basic hygiene supplies and toiletry essentials
- Blankets
- Jackets
- New Socks
- Hats, Gloves, Scarves
- Hand warmers
In extreme circumstances, we will provide air mattresses, tents, sleeping bags, and camping gear as we have it available.
Please consider pledging just $20/month!
With enough pledges, we'll be secure in our ability to keep the Food Pantry doors open.
We greatly appreciate any help you can offer in the fight against food insecurity!
