In Hunterdon County, approximately 5,000 residents are living below the poverty line and in Warren County, that number rises to over 11,000.
These are not distant statistics, they are your neighbors, your coworkers, your children's classmates; individuals and families struggling to afford even the most basic necessities.
Without access to consistent support, many of these residents will go hungry. But The Outreach Connection is here to do more than provide food; we offer a holistic, compassionate approach to helping people regain stability.
Through our programs, we provide:
- Nutritious food
- Hygiene and cleaning supplies
- Basic household necessities
- Ongoing support services
Every item is distributed with dignity and care, helping to lay a stronger foundation for individuals and families facing hardship.
We believe in empowering people, not just meeting immediate needs, but creating opportunities for long-term success.
Each month, the number of families seeking support continues to grow. We are currently serving around 800 individuals and distributing over 15,000 pounds of supplies and that number is only increasing.

Honor the memory of a loved one or donate as a tribute while laying a firm foundation for someone in your community who is in need. Your donation is a thoughtful and impactful way of honoring a loved one, while helping someone in your community.
On the donation form, there is a question towards the bottom: "If this is a tribute gift, such as a gift in honor or memory of someone, please select Yes to provide details". After filling out who you would like to honor, you may also have us notify someone of your tribute by filling out a notification name and address.
