We know times feel heavy right now. You may be worried about feeding your family or making ends meet.
We see you. We hear you. You are not alone. People in your corner are fighting for you every day.
We are here to feed you, chat with you, offer support, and provide a steady, safe, welcoming place for you and your family.
Yes, we anticipate a higher number of visitors, and yes, there may be a longer wait than usual. But we are prepared. While you wait, TVs will play shows, toys and activities will keep little hands busy, snacks will be available, and our thrift store will be open for you to wander and breathe.
We are also working hard to bring SNAP navigators to our location so you can ask every question you have and get answers you can trust.
Our volunteers are ready to assist, reminding you that your family matters, your struggles are valid, and you are not invisible.
We. Are. Here. For. You. Always.
First, Thank You.
Right now, our community is facing challenges that can feel overwhelming. Families are worried about putting food on the table, making ends meet, or accessing the support they need. But here’s the truth, you can make a difference.
If you feel called to stand with your neighbors, to offer a hand, a smile, or a listening ear, we invite you to join us. Your time, energy, and compassion are more than donations, they are a lifeline for families who need someone in their corner.
Our volunteers are the heart of The Outreach Connection. They provide steady support, encouragement, and care, reminding families that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Every act of kindness matters. Every moment of support strengthens our community.
Together, we can create a space where hope, comfort, and care are always within reach.

Monetary donations are incredibly helpful, since we can purchase goods at a discounted rate and stretch a dollar much further. For example, right now we can get a 24-pack of chicken noodle soup for only $3.23 (about 13¢ per can!) or 12 packs of egg noodles for only $1.90.

During this time of crisis, you can give hope to a family who has lost SNAP benefits. A $25 donation covers the cost of groceries in our pantry for one family for an entire month. Every dollar helps a neighbor stay nourished and cared for.

Help us fill the gaps in what we can provide through the NORWESCAP Food Bank by hosting a food drive! Gather your community, local club, family, friends anyone who wants to make a difference and make sure no one in our community goes without.

We’re preparing for a significant increase in families needing our services, and we can’t do it alone. We’ll need more hands for food pick-ups, warehouse organization, and helping serve families directly.
Volunteering with us is fun, flexible, and deeply rewarding. Every hour you give helps bring hope, food, and care to our neighbors in need.
Join us and make a difference today.

Much of our support comes simply from word of mouth. By following us on Facebook, Instagram, commenting, sharing our posts, or leaving a positive review on the 31 Threads page, you’re helping us spread the word.
Your voice helps us feed our community.

We’re currently distributing around 23,000 pounds of food and supplies every month — a 53% increase since the beginning of the year. We couldn’t do it without the incredible support of our community!
To keep up with this growing need, we rely on community donations to help fill the gaps and provide the items we are not able to purchase through NORWESCAP or other suppliers.
Your support truly keeps our shelves stocked and our neighbors fed.
Many people are hoping to help with Thanksgiving items, but we had to order all of those ahead of time, and we’re actually well stocked for the holiday itself. Right now, our biggest needs are the items we won’t be receiving from NORWESCAP over the next month. These include:
We’re also always grateful for gift cards, as those allow us to quickly fill in gaps as they come up. Monetary donations are incredibly helpful, since we can purchase goods at a discounted rate and stretch a dollar much further. For example, right now we can get a 24-pack of chicken noodle soup for only $3.23 (about 13¢ per can!) or a 12-pack of egg noodles for only $1.90.
